On July 16, our conference session featured two parts: a presentation on the state of sports economics by Brad Humphreys (West Virginia University) and a round table titled "The Challenges of Sports in the Professional Era" with Manuel Glave (PUCP–GRADE), Roberto Silva (SAFAP), Jorge Tovar (Universidad de los Andes), and Daniel McBride (PUCP), moderated by Fernanda Sota (PUCP).
